Do it Yourself Type?
Are you the type of person who'd rather build your own website than hire someone to do it?
Me too. And as a fellow do-it-yourselfer, I want to help you out!
Build your Own Site
Websites can be expensive. Think about building it, updating it with fresh content, and adding or removing pages, and you can see how a lot of money can be spent. Hiring an outside web designer to do that stuff is smart for businesses with the budget. But the smaller small businesses usually don't have it. They need to know how to do it themselves.
And the options for doing it yourself are limited. You could buy a book, but without skilled help, that can be frustrating and unproductive.
Or you could just buy some web design software to help you. But you'll quickly find that the software is only as good as the person who operates it
You could go back to school, or go to a training facility. And you might get great help there, but you'll pay an arm and a leg for it.
My Option
So here's my deal: I'll teach you how to build the website you want, with no additional software And for substantially less than you would pay at one of the big training facilities.
Sure, it's going to take some of your time. And I know what it's like running a small business. Finding time can be HARD.
But think about what that time will be worth. Spend a few hours learning real web design with me, and you'll never need a web designer again. That saves you money, and empowers your business. Suddenly, you've got a web designer on staff who knows, I mean really knows how to make things work. Think about the things you could do with that.
The Details
Here's how it's going to work: I'll be taking reservations for classes starting today. I'll be keeping classes small (no more than 3 students) to make sure I can give everyone the attention they deserve. You'll get:
- six 1-hour class sessions
- 1/2 hour of phone time with me each week to ask questions
- Optional homework assignments to help you get the most out of each session
- Access to my personal link library, containing important reference materials
I'll pass along the info for the textbook I'll be using if you'd like to buy it (it's not mandatory, but it is useful). The class will teach you the fundamentals of current web programming standards so that when you're finished, you'll have all the knowledge you need to build your own site. You'll also have lots of reference material, so if you get stuck on something, you'll know where to find the answer.
So How Much Already?
$495. That's less than a class at the local community college. It's substantially less than classes at the big training facilities. It's also less than some of the web design software on the market.
But most importantly, it's the least expensive way to get your website built.
